That $405 planner lady… The issue is not that she’s selling an overpriced leather planner cover. It’s that she chose to have it be a non-standard 4-ring planner.
If it was a standard 6-ring, someone could buy the planner for themself or as a gift, and that would be a planner to last a lifetime. When her store goes out of business, people could have gone to the regular store and bought refills for it, but as it is?
