Journal 001

Well, it’s been a somewhat trying day.

I have been attempting to finish up the last edits for “Pulse of the City” so I can finally publish it, so of course today was the day when the Kids didn’t want to offer me any peace at all. In fact, they both went out of their way to get me into a spluttering miasma of rage.

Imagine, stepping out to call two kids in for lunch and finding the yard empty when they were right there a minute ago. Then when you frantically yell for them and run all over the place like an idiot… turns out their cousin was over next door so they decided to go play with him without asking. I was seeing red.

So as punishment for nearly giving me a heart attack, I gave them worksheet pages to do and assigned them each a book report… I have never seen so many spelling mistakes, grammar errors, or just plain nonsense since I edited “Little Boy Blue.”

I’ll get back to my editing, but I’m already aggravated and half-exhausted and just about ready to throw in the towel for the day.

Kids are hard.
