So I was basically abusing the hell out of my new planner and a couple of things popped up:

Sakura Con is April 6-8.  That’s right, it takes place during the EASTER WEEKEND.  What kind of planning was that? Was there no other weekend available?  I mean, I’m totally going to go, but talk about your awkward scheduling.  I’ll have to dab The Kid’s tears with some of my new yaoi manga…

The Unbirthday I planned for 2012 caused a bit of a personal upset when I realized I scheduled it for May 5.  That’s right, Cinco de Mayo.  Do you know how hard it would be to get an available space at the park or anywhere else?  I had to reschedule to May 12.  I’ve got it planned where we’ll make a pinata, invite all of The Kid and The Girl’s friends, have a BBQ, and maybe add some games.  I’m also thrilled at the idea of funny hats.  Yes, I am a gigantic nerd.

The Brand–sci-fi/fantasy novella.  Pen is the desired concubine of Duke Wrathful Fury who has just killed King Gentle and taken over his kingdom all to possess him.

Duck Ugly–fairy tale remix novella.  Duck is an ugly girl in a beautiful family.  She’s so ugly that she can’t possibly be their real daughter, so she is forced to live as a servant to her own relatives.

It’s Smashwords right now, should be showing up on Goodreads in a little while.  At Amazon, because I couldn’t make it available for free, it costs $0.99.

If you buy from Amazon, don’t feel like you’re getting cheated.  The Amazon copy includes a few extras like a Demonspeak Lexicon and about 8000 words worth of short stories at the end.  The short stories are a random assortment of sci-fi pieces so those unfamiliar with my writings can get a little taste of my various styles.  So really, “Little Boy Blue” is free at Amazon, it’s the extras that cost money.
