If you have never been to the salon and personally had a bad experience, why are you leaving 1-star reviews?<\/p>\n
If you don’t live in the area and you’re not really planning on getting your hair done, why are you making appointments at the salon just to ruin their business?<\/p>\n
When I worked customer service, an oldhead gave me the advice that has always stayed in my head: All customers are liars, bitches, and thieves.<\/p>\n
"But I’m<\/em> a great customer!"–From your perspective, yeah. Sure. But maybe the customer service person dealing with you might not share that sentiment. They might honestly think you’re a bitch just because you keep blah-blah-blah’ing while they’re on a tight schedule with management tracking their every customer interaction. You don’t have to be a liar or a thief to be seen as a bitch by someone forced<\/em> to deal with you as part of their job.<\/p>\n Trauma dumping on a customer service person? Bitch behavior.<\/p>\n And this lady? She publicly lied, which resulted in a "violent" Internet mob destroying a hair salon and causing a bunch of people to lose their money. While she laughed about it, gleeful at all the attention she was receiving.<\/p>\n And now that she’s facing a backlash for her own behavior?<\/p>\n "Please stop harassing me and my family. I’m scared for my children<\/em>."–My dude, you didn’t give a fuck about the safety of the employees and their families when you were smearing their reputation all over the Internet to a bunch of people that seem to have a lot of time on their hands and a lot of formless rage they are ready and willing to use to destroy a company at the behest of someone they perceive as a victim.<\/p>\n You are not the victim in this situation.<\/p>\n You had a bad hair experience. Whoop whoop. You could have told it as a funny "Oh no, look what happened to my hair!" story that would have gathered attention you could have used to introduce yourself to the public WITHOUT naming the hair stylist and the salon. But because you named the hair stylist and the salon, you got someone fired, you’ve damaged the reputation of a business in a way that probably has legal consequences for you, and you’ve ruined your own reputation.<\/p>\n Who wants to buy the music and support someone that has shown they’re happy to be a shitty person on main? You might sing beautifully or play instruments wonderfully, I don’t know. I don’t care. All I know about you is that you ruined the life and career of another person for clout.<\/p>\n It sucks.<\/p>\n Was the stylist good at giving perms? No. Did she tell you the perm might come out looking like dogshit because of the things you’d previously done to your hair? Yes. Did it come out looking like dogshit? Yeah. What did you expect?<\/p>\n There were two ways this could have gone: Good perm, bad perm. And the stylist warned you there was a big chance it was going to be a bad perm. BECAUSE OF THE THINGS YOU’D PREVIOUSLY DONE YOURSELF TO YOUR HAIR.<\/p>\n To purposefully set about to destroy the life and financial security of another person WHILE CRYING ABOUT HOW HARD YOUR LIFE IS AS A SINGLE PARENT WITH A LOW PAYING JOB? Get the fuck outta here.<\/p>\n The stylist should have immediately apologized and the salon should have immediately given a refund. But to intentionally set about destroying a whole business? WHILE gleefully laughing about it? WHILE blasting the stylist’s legal name all over the place to give an Internet mob a target?
