Got in a verbal spat over the word “gross”. I use it as “disgusting, vomit-inducing” while he kept insisting that it meant the same thing but differently.<\/p>\n

It was just a bit frustrating having to deal with his “Nuh uh!” attitude.<\/p>\n
Its like our differing views on video games and the comment abuse system. He’s seeing it as his friends being persecuted by unfair people. I see it as “What were they saying that got them flagged?”<\/p>\n
So I wanted to clarify that when I use the word “Gross” to describe something, I mean that it is not appealing to me and in point of fact actually makes me feel sick in my stomach.<\/p>\n
