Thought I might mention that the character of Greg in “Approaching Zero” was loosely based on Griff from “Another Gay Movie.” I just thought Griff was so adorable…
I really need to watch that movie again. Sure, the humor was vulgar and over the top in a lot of places, but underneath there was a cute coming of age story buried under everything else. Plus, at the time I watched it, my then-roommate Doug said when he was in high school there was a girl in his class exactly like Muffler. He was still kind of boggled at how she managed to hook up with so many hot girls. It made me laugh.
