Little Boy Blue

I’ve decided to give “Little Boy Blue” away for free.  So take, read, enjoy…

It’s Smashwords right now, should be showing up on Goodreads in a little while.  At Amazon, because I couldn’t make it available for free, it costs $0.99.

If you buy from Amazon, don’t feel like you’re getting cheated.  The Amazon copy includes a few extras like a Demonspeak Lexicon and about 8000 words worth of short stories at the end.  The short stories are a random assortment of sci-fi pieces so those unfamiliar with my writings can get a little taste of my various styles.  So really, “Little Boy Blue” is free at Amazon, it’s the extras that cost money.

Demons, angels, devils, and Ashley Valentine. Just a typical story about a boy joining a band, then having to go on a quest to defend everyone he loves from a vindictive demon.

This is my prerequisite band story, though it kind of outgrew the confines of such banality to become something fairly strange.

Doing a last bit of editing on “Little Boy Blue” and had the semi-crazy thought… what if I dropped half of the end, and just kind of wrapped the whole story up? There’s a sequel, “Residual Blue” planned, but what if I just tied it all up now?  Argh! I’m gonna stop on LBB and give myself a chance to think about what I am and am not going to do…

Doing a last read through of “Little Boy Blue.” It’s driving me crazy and I feel like a need a nap, but I know I have to keep soldiering on.

It might not be so arduous if there were like tons of spelling mistakes to fix or something, but basically it’s just a read through.  And since I’ve read it before…

I think I’m going to make myself a cup of tea, maybe take a quick walk, then hopefully I’ll be ready to get back to it.

Wish me luck!
