So… the kitchen sink has been acting like a real bitch for the last week or so. First it was slow to drain, and then I used some Green Gobbler* but I only had one chamber so while it did something, all that loosened stuff was still there and created more of a problem (I have to get some more) and it’s just been a complete HASSLE. But anyways, I took the end off the gooseneck and hosed it out and some real awful gunk came out (which I used a plastic bag to pick up and throw away like it was a dog doody) and while I was messing around with the hose I kept thinking “This is some real goobler” which segued into me thinking about the old “Full House” show back when they were kids (I haven’t seen “Fuller House” and don’t plan to).
Danny Tanner was a real asshole to Kimmy Gibbler. Like, she was a little kid when that show first started, like 11 or 12 years old.
And I get that it was supposed to be some kind or running joke between them, DJ’s dad and her best friend, what a riff, and all that BUT… He was an asshole to a child and he was a grown man of AT LEAST 35.
Like, if she’d been my kid and I knew her best friend’s dad was talking to her like that? I’d be so pissed off!
And it’s like, she was NEVER the problematic friend in the relationship. Sure, she was a little mouthy and seemed a little edgier that DJ… But DJ and her sisters were having drama EVERY WEEK. And like, serious STUFF.
Meanwhile, Kimmy kept getting pulled into DJ’s drama and I don’t really remember her having any of her own. She was just a normal kid living a normal life, while DJ was going WILD.
Anyways. Hindsight is 20/20. And thinking about that show now, there’s probably a reason so many members of Gen-X have just totally gone off the rails.
I blame TGIFriday.
Even “Step By Step” made poor cousin Cody sleep in the driveway even though they had that big ass house.

-> Green Gobbler Drain Clog Dissolver is a miracle. Sure, you might still have to use a plunger for really bad clogs, but for being biodegradable and “environmentally friendly” it’s a much better choice than the more caustic chemical stuff.
Green Gobbler Drain Clog Dissolver on Amazon.
The usual Green Gobbler bottle has two chambers. You can usually solve problems with just one, but if you’ve got a big time clog you use both.
The more time you can give it to work, the longer it has for the enzymes to eat away at bits of food and hair and whatever. It worked great when the shower drain was backing up and I’ve used it on the kitchen sink before. This time I only had one chamber and I only gave it an hour when I should have let it sit all night.
So, Imma get some more Green Gobbler and hit this sink up again. And hopefully it will be “problem solved” and I won’t have to use the plunger on it.
Fingers crossed.
