So I saw this article: "Trump endorses U.S. Marshals’ summary execution of suspect" => https://boingboing.net/2020/10/15/trump-admits-he-had-suspect-executed-in-street-by-u-s-marshals-they-didnt-want-to-arrest-him.html <= and I have to wonder when we started murdering people SUSPECTED of committing a crime?

Body cameras mysteriously switched off? Check.

Police don’t announce themselves before attacking? Check.

Man shot dead because "he fired first" only for the story to change to "he had a gun in his pocket." Check.

Police union rallying around sh!tty cops? Check.

President of the United States screeding like a howler monkey about it being a righteous kill he thoroughly supports? Check.

So yeah. Basically everything wrong with this country all in one article.

Does it help that said president, before he was president, also supported the torture and execution of four men that later turned out to be innocent? And even after they were proven innocent was still blathering about how they should be locked up?

Yeah. I don’t think it helps anything at all -_-

It was after I saw the "Flight" movie crash scene that I immediately watched the movie. It was years ago, but I can still taste the disappointment in being tricked into watching yet another depressing movie.

So whatever on that.

That crash scene is still one of the best plane scenes I’ve ever watched. I definitely recommend you watch it.

It’s like "Flight movie crash scene" on YouTube.

I wish they could pay for the right to use that flight scene–minus the drug and alcohol beginning–and have it run to him being dragged off by the medics.

The new story could pick up years later. He’s not an airline pilot anymore. He’s running cargo. That way later he can show off like Tailspin and invert his cargo plane.

He’s older, so that’s gotta be part of things, but I don’t think he’s too old to fly commercially.
